We hope that you will consider this site an excellent resource to further your own knowledge of horses.
It is the monsoon season in Arizona and that means that you will need to watch your performance horses carefully for signs on heat stress. Your horse will have more difficulty dissipating body heat when the temperature and the humidity are both high. If your horse STOPS sweating you will need to start him on ONE AC, which is a feed supplement.
Call our office right away if your horse is not sweating.
We are giving spring vaccines now. The usual immunizations for this area are
EWTF/R + WNV.
Eastern and Western encephalomyleitis, Tetanus, Influenza, Rhinopneumonitis, + West Nile Virus.
